The Mirror has been put in it’s place in a gorgeous residential house on the Gold Coast.
…… It looks amazing, though a little small with it’s 2.4meters now that it is in place.

Finalized the backing and hanging system.
The frame is on its way to the Gold Coast.

What a day! Getting the mirror glass into the frame, took about 5 guys to lift it into place as the mirror itself weighs 80kg.
Once the mirror was set into the frame we needed 8 guys to move it into storage for the weekend. What a day!

The actual mirror glass will be arriving today. We’ve been busy prepping the bedding for this and will hopefully finish the framed mirror by the end of today as it is off to the Gold Coast on Monday! Stay tuned.

Joining the 4 frames together takes a lot of screws, measuring, cutting, filling and glue.

And the big works have begun. Today we have completed:
Mitering the frame including
– 4 Outer moulds 2.4 meter each
– 8 Inner moulds all varying in size
– 8 raisers and fillers for gaps
Moulding the 4 main frames just in time before the rain came in!

The stock for the frame has arrived.
There’s 7 boxes weighing from 10 upto 20 kilograms each! Anybody keen for a workout?

We are about commence works on a 2.5 sq meter mirror with quadruple layer frame.
It may sound a little crazy, but we are making one for a client and we’ll be keeping you posted on all the challenges and fun we’ll be having whilst making it.
